Half Way and PROUD!

Some of you are wondering how Mike and Chuck are really doing. Maybe you've missed the posts up until now and/or don't feel like scrolling through and reading them to catch up (no offense), so here's a recap:

TOTAL 159 741.1 900.1

Quite impressive if you ask me. I mean seriously, Mike and Chuck have had to deal with NO shoulder and/or construction which has limited their riding abilities at times (safety is VERY IMPORTANT), so in those cases they have been riding in town to make up the missed miles. A few falls have bestowed upon them some painful repercussions, plus there is the mental element of missing family, friends, and home.

I know that Chuck and Mike are working hard to finish this trek (1800 miles) in 30 days. As hard as they are working I fully expect them to do it. GO THEM! They are accomplishing what they have set out to do, and then some. It takes a strong mind, strong will, strong heart, and capable body to do what they are doing. As a triathlete and former USSA downhill ski racer (who raced for over 20 years) I can certainly speak from experience on mental and physical taxation.

So, let's rally behind them the last half of their journey. They are in the mountains now - the hard part. They need all the support they can get along with God's grace. They will do great, this I don't doubt. God is with them and so is Tim!  ;)
