Day 11

Day 11

This was a very frustrating day. We started off SAILING on the bikes. Mike and I rode to Tim Hortons to use the wifi there so we could send Paula an e-mail report. We then went back to the trailer and dropped the computer and took off down Hwy 16. We had a rear breeze (you couldn’t feel it but it was there) and we rocked! We hit 57 miles before lunch and thought we’d hit a record-setting day, but then we unraveled. We had to load up and drive into and around Edmonton. It was crazy and we couldn’t find a campground. Finally around 5 PM we found one west of Edmonton and locked in there, but our day was shot at that point. We walked a little but we were finished. Tomorrow we hope to hit it hard. Soon you will enjoy a couple more pictures I’m sending along with their story.
